The Last Post
So, since this blog has been virtually untouched by any outsiders for months (really forever), it is now coming to a close-for the time being at least. I may start a new one, hopefully with more fans. So, goodbye my imaginary friends.

Wowww...
Hey everybody, its been another two weeks, and still nothing. So for now, I'm just gonna keep posting (hopefully more), and see what comes around. Here's a couple of quotes from the 2008 movie Jumper.
David Rice: [bowing to Coliseum statues] Thank you very much! Next showing will be at six o'clock. Don't forget to tip your usher.
David Rice: Where'd the Paladin go?
Griffin: Swimming.
David Rice: Pacific?
Griffin: No, Actually, Atlantic. Nice little shark pit round Cuba.
Anyway, I'm hoping to post again soon, especially with vacation coming up.
See ya round,

Its Been (Two?) Weeks!!!
Hey, I know its been forever (not that anyone's reading this), but I've been mighty busy. So, to make up for the long time (two weeks?), I'll put some extra quotes!!! Yay!!!
Here's the first:
You, minion, are too saucy.
-Taken from: The Two Gentlemen of Verona
And now these, from the last episode of Angel, Not Fade Away, which I just watched yesterday:
Angel: You haven't heard a word I've said. [scoffs] For, like, years back.
Lindsey McDonald: Well, you get a little speachy, alright? I breeze out.
[about Angel's master plan for taking down the Circle of the Black Thorn]
Lindsey McDonald: If you want me, I'm on your team.
Angel: I want you, Lindsey... Thinkin' about rephrasing that.
Lindsey McDonald: Yeah, I think I'd be more comfortable if you did.
Angel: This may come out a little pretentious, but... one of you will betray me.
[Spike raises his hand]
Angel: Wes.
Spike: [disappointed] Oh. Can I deny you three times?
Spike: Right. First off, I'm not wearing any amulets. No bracelets,
brooches, beads,pendants, pins or rings.
Connor: You drop by for a cup of coffee and the world's not ending? Please.
[Spike is getting drunk in a bar populated by rough bikers]
Spike: Nice crowd.
Bartender: It can get pretty ugly in here, I gotta warn you.
Spike: What I'm after. [drinks another shot of liquor]
Spike: A couple more shots of courage, and I may make my presence felt.
Bartender: Your funeral.
Spike: Well, I never had a proper one.
And, finally,
[last lines; the gang faces an endless onslaught of demons]
Spike: And in terms of a plan?
Angel: We fight.
Spike: Bit more specific?
Angel: Well, personally, I kinda wanna slay the dragon. Let's go to work.
Kind of sad,
_alex

Heyyy
Hey guys-
I logged on here and freaked out because NONE OF MY VIDEOS WERE THERE!!!!!! Anyway, I'm just gonna forget it and try again next time. So, here's the quote:
John Casey: [to Chuck] You owe me a toe Bartowski!
Ellie Bartowski: You're going to be okay, John. A lot of people get by with nine toes.
John Casey: [to Chuck] You know, I survived three wars without so much as losing a fingernail before I met you Bartowski!
-Chuck versus Santa Claus

Aaaahhh
Hey guys, (obviously) I forgot (again) to do the random quote. So, here it is, one I'm sure nearly everyone knows,a little late:
Mr. Gibbs: Then, on the fourth day, he roped himself a couple of sea turtles, lashed 'em together and made a raft.
Will Turner: He roped a couple of sea turtles.
Mr. Gibbs: Aye. Sea turtles.
Will Turner: What did he use for rope?
Jack Sparrow: [from beside them] Human hair. [pause]
Jack Sparrow: From my back.
-Pirates of the Caribbean:Curse of the Black Pearl
Also, I was looking at some other ones that are supposedly from that same movie, but I haven't the faintest recollection of them (this is shocking because I can recite every line from that movie). So, here they are:
Jack Sparrow: Is there a problem between us, Miss Swann?
Elizabeth: You were going to tell Barbossa about Will in exchange for a ship.
Jack Sparrow: We could use a ship. But the truth is, I wasn't going to tell Barbossa about Will, as long as I had something to bargain with, which now nobody has, thanks to bloody stupid Will. Elizabeth: Oh.
Jack Sparrow: [mockingly] Oh.
and (though this one sounds more familiar):
Elizabeth: You didn't tell them about the curse.
Jack Sparrow: I noticed neither did you. For the same reason, I expect.
Elizabeth: He wouldn't have risked it.
Jack Sparrow: Could have gotten him drunk. Oh, don't get me wrong, love. I admire a person who's willing to do whatever's necessary.
Elizabeth: You're a smart man, Jack. But I don't entirely trust you.
Jack Sparrow: Peas in a pod, darling.
Till next time,

Inkheart Week- Last Day & Random Quote
So, I will conclude Inkheart Week (a little late) with this: I saw the movie, and while not nearly as good as the book, I did enjoy it. Many things were changed, some of which helped the movie, while others were just seemingly random. I did like Brenden Fraser as Mo, and Paul Bettany. Helen Mirren was entertaining as Elinor. However, Capricorn's men seemed a bit too goofy. It was probably better to those people who didn't love the book as much as I did. So, go see it, but don't expect something as wonderful as the book.
Anyway, here's the quote:
"We're not saying we're superheroes: we just do super things, heroically." -Harry Spengler (Travis Wester) in an interview with The Official Supernatural Magazine.
See ya

Inkheart Week- Day Three
Hey, sorry about the giantness of the picture(and these super-long posts)-still new to this.
Anyway, in most movies adapted from books, they change stuff around. I'm going to post a list of what is different* in this movie from the book Inkheart:
***SPOILERS*** IF YOU WANT TO READ THE BOOKS DO NOT READ THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
~Meggie's power is discovered by Capricorn, in the movie, after the appearance of Toto, the dog summoned by reading The Wizard of Oz, but in the novel she summons Peter Pan's Tinkerbell.
~Farid and Dustfinger set fire to Capricorn's house. In the book Farid and Mo did it.
~Dustfinger is taken into Inkheart by Mo. In the book he isn't but in Inkspell he is finally taken in but does not meet his wife, Roxane straight away..
~Mo agrees to send Dustfinger back into Inkheart. The fire juggler is reunited with his family, while some kind of hummingbird is sent into the real world.
~Farid remains with Meggie's family.
~Every other creature summoned from the book is sent back, due to an addendum written by Meggie herself.
~Every other creature summoned from the book is sent back, due to an addendum written by Meggie herself.
~It is revealed by Fenoglio that inside Inkheart Dustfinger would die while saving his Marten Gwin. Because the Marten is not sent back in the book along with Dustfinger, the juggler will most likely live.
~Gwin, Dustfingers' pet, is a ferret in the movie and a marten in the novel.
Sooo these are the changes, which also include, flying monkeys, a tornado, unicorns, and other random things. However, the reviews are pretty good, even if the critics probably never read the book. Hopefully, I will love it and you will too.

Ooooops
Sorry guys, messed up the timeline a little. So I'll do the quote today, and then switch the rest of the the stuff to the next couple of days. Keeping with the theme of Inkheart Week, this quote is from Inkspell:
"Stories never really end, even if books like to pretend they do. Stories always go on. They don't end on the last page, any more than they begin on the first page."
Enjoy, and buh-bye,

Yo,
Not much to say today. Supernatural and the Office are coming back tonight, sort of at the same time. Its currently 18 degrees where I am. I'm listening to Save Your Best by Steve Reynolds, and reading Graceling by Kristin Cashore. I'll let you know how it goes when I'm done.
Be good

Yo-
Hey, I just realized that I forgot to name my last post, and I can't think of one now. So this post will be nameless, and the last will remain the same way. Anyway peeps, here's the quote
Emily: I don't understand. They're gonna kill us?
Dean Winchester: Sacrifice us. Which is... I don't know, classier I guess.
- Supernatural, Episode 11, Season 1 "Scarecrow"
Enjoy

Hey- today's random quote will be from Scrubs, which has its season premier tonight on ABC. And so, here we go:
"Before Izzy was born, if I saw a half-eaten meatball sub in the trash you better believe I would dust that bad boy off and go to town on it! But now, I'm not risking my health eating trash-food. I mean, unless it's a corn dog." -Dr. Turk.
Whooooo! Watch Scrubs on ABC! I know I will!

Webisodes and 2009
Yo homies,
How's it been? I'm still missing all my shows, but there is something to keep anyone in this dilema occcupied. One word: Webisodes.
Almost every channel on TV has started doing it, whether its for Heroes, Scrubs, The Office, etc. Actually, I'm watching one of the older ones for Heroes now. The cool part about them is that they have characters from the shows, and then sometimes, the original characters from the webisodes come to the show! Like in Scrubs, the new season is starting tomorrow. The webisode has all of the new interns- you get to hear about them before the show. And then the people in the show pop up too. I'll let y'all know more on these later or tomorrow or the next day or whatever.
In other news, Iron Man was voted the top movie of 2008. And here is a list of some upcoming movies for 2009:
Inkheart ~Either January 23rd or 28th
Push ~February 9th
Watchmen ~March 6th
X-Men Origins: Wolverine ~May 1st
Night at the Museum 2: Battle of the Smithsonian ~May 22nd
Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen ~June 26th
Ice Age 3: Dawn of the Dinosaurs ~July 1st
Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince ~July 17th
New Moon ~November 20th
and many more...
I'll catch everyone up on (most of) these at another time. Till then,
_alex
PS: I now have enough posts to have an Older Posts link. Yay!!!!
